- edited September 2018Accepted AnswerHi, I have a clean Install (Formatted my PC 2 days ago). VS 2017 15.8.5 (Xamarin.IOS 12.0.015) , that PC before formatting was Xamarin-paired with my MacBook Air, it worked as intended.Today I paired with the Mac (First time with the fresh 15.8.5) and got the same message described at the top of the thread (Update to XCode10), so I updated the High Sierra to 10.13.6 and then the Xcode to 10.0 (10A255).Pairing is successfull, but the Simulator pops up (In My PC) and gets stuck in a never ending loop Checking Server => Connecting to Mac => Connected.Output window with Diagnostic Verbosity only says => Launching 'BabyFlashCards.iOS' on 'iPhone 8 iOS 12.0'...I'm doing my research on the web, but couldn't not find any leadThanks!!Update: I'll open a new thread as this already has an accepted answer.
- Hi.I have already solved this problem yesterday without upgrading xCode or Mac System.
I had researched for few hours and found the way to do it.
If you are using Visual Studio 2017,you can do it as followings.
Open the properties window of your xamarin.IOS project.
Then Set Linker behavior to 'Link Framework Sdks Only' on IOS build.
Then run the ios project again.
It solved my issues.
